I'd say the music is still as good as it was in the original. I can't really say what the best anime is cause its too hard to decide. Some of the others that I consider to be the best are Cowboy Bebop, Dragonball and DBZ, the original Gundam was great, Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, and I know there are a few others but I just can't think of them right now. Two of the funniest animes I've seen are Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and GTO so I might consider them to be some of the best comedies.

yea, full meatl panic was definatly funny. action and comedy is my fav combo, like samuri champloo or bleach. Trinity blood and blood+ r also right up there on my list.

I enjoy watching shippuuden also as naruto isnt as annoying as he was previous. However in to say shippuuden is the best, is giving to much credit.

Oh it definitely aint the best. But its up there as one of the best.
I could never say one Anime/Manga was better than another cos they all have differing stories and are great in their own right.
Nothing wrong with shippuuden music either. Much more serious than earlier music.
