May I've some help?

I want to start reading anime/manga, but I've no idea on where to start. A couple of people told me that Naruto would be sufficient. Thanks.:D

I say start with Demon Diary its pretty funny. Also you can read Legal drug even though they stopped that series at #3, but it's still good, in my opinion...try Death Note and watch the movie if you can find it somewhere, the movie is hilarious....Basically just find something that looks interesting to you and get it...that what i do...

Or start with Manga movies, as in the movies not the comics :D Like Ninja Scroll or Akira etc

^ Agreed.

I would say to start with well known classics first, before you start delving into newer stuff. The things I started off with were Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell (manga/movies), Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Ninja Scroll (movie, not series, bleh) ect. These provide a good mix of styles as well as pretty universal appeal.

Thanks, guys. I'll be right on it. When I finally pick up my first book, then I'll come tell everybody what I chose.:)
