I couldn't find a thread about this animé. I love this animé show so much.
I haven't see that much yet, but I allready like it.

I think this could bee a thread where we could talk about all the things in the animé. Our favorit char.'s, why we like this animé, why we start seeing it, and if there is something in the animé we don't understand..

But first.. Who in Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni is you fav. char.?

My personal fav. char. is Rika.. She is soo kawaii *huggles*

I love this show! I was actualy thinking of starting a thread about this myself. Anyway, my favorite character is either Rena or Mion (im not sure if I spelled there names corectly) because I love how they are usualy so cute, but then at random moments they turn phsychotic.

One quick thing to add...I would really like to see the manga published in english. I hope the anime is selling well, so the manga will be eventualy licensed.

Yea there are a lot of diffrent manga addaptions. There were also some audio drama's, vidio games, and books. Apparantly the who franchise was a pretty huge sucsess in Japan.

AND they are making a live action movie!!! but I dont like the director very much. I hope he dosent screw it up.

i love this anime but when i first saw it was confusing in till some told me about the arc thing they did XD

which arc was the most scariest?

I personaly liked the first arc the best. The ending was just so brutal!

BAD NEWS FOR ALL HIGURASHI FANS! Geneon isnt going to continue licensing anime, so there wont be any new Higurashi no naku koro ni DVD's coming out!

My favorite Character is Mion. I guess I like her cuz she is odd and tomboyish. I dunno.
I love Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. I thought it was great! Has anyone watched the second season? I haven't been able to recently.

I think (like ILoveJapan) that the first act was the most scariest, ad also the best.. There happend a lot in that act, and you learn a lot about the girls.

I know what you mean. I was kinda confused my self.
I thinked it was weird, that he (Keiichi) talk to the same guys so many times O..O And still dosen't know who they are. But I think it's a cool way to make an animé :D
Whit a lot of small story, and from every story, you learn something new :]
