Negima! (Manga)

Has anyone else read it? Not the anime, I mean the manga =P. I found it interesting that after Love Hina, the writer would make something like this. It surrised me becuase he is known for his trashy, straight out romances, and Negima is SLIGHtLY romantic, but mostly funny, and wierdest of all is...By the 8th volume, the action scenes really aren't half bad. What do you guys have to say?

it's a great series! I'm on the 16th volume, now. The story and illustrations are so detailed. It makes you want to stick with til the end, and I don't know how many volumes are left.:ywave:

:D I've read until vol 14 but it's really good i like the manga better cause it gets into the story and it gives more detail.

Hey, did you read Love Hina? I think it deserved a lot more credit as a romance then it got.:mtongue:

Daydreamer 09-30-2007 06:59 PM

Back to Negima for a minute...The one thing I can't stand is when you REALLY can't tell if someone likes the main character. Well, Asumna, whom I personally love, at the same time, annoys me. I just don't know what shes thinking, and I doubt somehow that that problem will ever be solved -_-. It doesn't seem like the type of thing that gets spelled out for you, more like "For you to decide"

The manga is awesome... I've read all of it which is out (including in Japan, despite knowing next to no Japanese), and it's definately something new for KA. Plus, if you like it at where you guys currently are, I'm sure you'll like it even more when the most recent volumes to be released in Japan hit US shores
