Yea :DDD

It was my first anime convention / expo of any kind really, and I thought it was really good!
It was quite big :] I just reaf the show guide today and it took up four of the halls at ExCel...

Lol!! What your boyfriend said was really true though... About 85% of the stuff that was in there was like a 'buy it' stall hehe ^-^

I went with just my best friend but we told some over girls at our school who like anime about it and they also went (but with their own arrangements) and we met in there after about 2 hours or so so there was about a group of 6 of us for about 3-4 hours :P

You might have seen me anyway seeing as I walked around the whole things like 20 times :D

I am black, kinda short and chubby and was wearing a short sleeve bright red hoodie which had big black pacman type creatures printed on it, a white skirt, tights and fake uggs lol... I wear glasses if that helps aswell :P
and also had a black hat on with my hair in two bunches.

where do you guys find out about anime expos? i heard about one in May and thought "i wanna go to the next one"... but it seems ive missed it. is there somwhere that always has listings?

unfortunately i don't really think they advertise the expo well enough... i'm sure that if they did though it would be WAYYY too busy

but anyhow
i literally was looking for gaming expos in london (seeing as I was particularly jealous at the Tokyo Game Show which I won't be able to attend for quite a while lol) and so literally I didn't really find any at first
but a girl on Myspace who is on my friends list had a picture of her cosplaying at what she called a 'manga convention' and then I was thinking to myself "Damn! I didn't know they had anime expos in London!!! :O And then I started searching the internet like thoroughly lol and turns out that this one was a MCM (Movie, Comic Media) convention but it was mainly anime, manga, manhwa (korean manga kinda), gaming and other media stuff.

I did actually find out about it about a year ago, right before the May one too, but I missed that one and then there is also the JapanEx one which is held in July (the first one was this year) and I planned to go to that one but couldn't because my friend who I was going with went away on holiday :(

Anyhow
How did everyone else find out about it? I think it's kind of by chance that I found out about it...

is there a listing online or anything, that keeps you updated on future ones?

Ermmm :S m not quite sure
but they do regularly update the site if that's what you mean with stuff that will be appearing at the expos aswell as future dates after one has just finished

And also when you go to one, they give you the dates for the next ones in the show guide they give you when you buy your ticket.

more and more people seem to be finding out about it as it goes on...
th last one was the biggest turnout they'd had, and then before that ws the previous one and so on :P
