The opening theme is as they say, teh shit XD~! Fell in love with the music the moment I heard it O.o

It was saddening at the ending though.

The anime demonstrates the true essence of samurai culture & spirit, an exclusive feat very few others can mimic, probably due to the all too gory sacrifices or the shrewd violence?

I saw an episode of the anime by chance...It was playing on a movie channel for some reason xD. Anyway, i thought it was...strange. Better see it from the beginning xD

It's kind of hard to watch this show without watching Seven Samurai (七人の侍), the legendary Kurosawa film that this anime is based on. If you really want to know where Samurai 7 came from (as well as get a chance to see some very fine Japanese film making), I would highly recommend getting your hands on a copy...

If iam not mistaken, that video sells for like $40. It was played a few days ago on a move channel three times in a row and its almost 4 hours long and black and white, not that iam complaining.

Samurai 7 is in my top 5 faves of all time! Fantastic series, just can't get enough of the OT, "Unlimited", either.

My favourite character is Heihachi, I've cosplayed as him as well :D

Very True. Although (correct me if I'm wrong), there are a good amount of differences between Samurai Seven and Seven Samurai. I loved both of them, but I still thin Seven Samurai is much better.
