Yes, I think that in OVA and Samurai x there were more romance, and that is a good sign!!

Rurouni Kenshin is good without an overload of romance. Kaoru's character is just a bit annoying, and to have some more romance between her and Kenny would be just too much. That's what I like about RK, it has decent battle scenes and the main focus isn't totally on Kaoru and Kenshin's love life, or any other romances.

If it was up to me, I'd have Kenshin kill Kaoru..

That's why I focus more on Kaoru, she's sort of sweet, but Kenshin is even more sweet ^^

I think it's fine the way it is. I watch other animes/shows if I want romance.

This was the reason I fell in love with this anime cause it didnt make me sick. Cause it kinda keeps you wondering and you feel sorry for hwe cause you dont know if hes in love with her or not its like a really messed realationship. I can totally relate I think its good the way it is by the way I think that rurouni kenshin is more of a shonen anime and we all know guys dont like all the mushy stuff they want more action!
