Personally, I'd definitely choose Chrono Crusade.

I think the best ending was buso renkin. But the worst ending was rurouni kenshin

There have been some good endings where the main character dies: Death Note, Neon Genesis Evangelion (if you consider those "deaths" in the movie), and many more. Though, personally, my favorite one's where one of the supporting character dies and the female supporting admits her love for the male protagonist and vice versa (but this has only happened in a few of them) :D

WOW dude , I had the exact same opinion , when I read ur thread. Chrono Crusade's ending is awesome and profound

its sad to leave the characters T_T

the main characters *spoiler* do find themselves in VERY unpleasent circumstances... it's actually a bit creepy>> deffinitely NOT ONE FOR THE FAINT HEARTED!~!!

Full Moon wo Sagashite has a beautiful ending, Eternal Snow. I just love it. ;___; <3 But I hate D.N.Angels 1st ending RRRR -____-"
