Like Gwar? Annotations of an Autopsy?

On the metal flaming note, I hate it when people just say, "AH its just a bunch of noise." I think that metal(the stuff that is well put together and not just trying to rip the strings off) takes a lot of talent if not more than what is "main stream".

Note: I am talking strictly instruments, not singing.

yeah, definitely =)

that point should be redirected to my Industrial/metal/alternative thread =D

but yeah. i find metal very empowering. it wasnt until i started listening to more metal, that i slowly became stronger in facing the situations in my life, things like depression.

metal gives you power, and can really help you release your frustration =)

My favorite for that is Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit, it is out of my usual listening. I don't need it very often but when I do, it's a good release.

Also, those two bands I listed were a joke.

Both of these.

It's a shame that when some people hear that metal can cause slight empowerment, they think that their power level will finally get to be over 9000.
