I will have to just see what happens ^_^ Im excited to see Jackson Rathbone play in the film. Thats a plus.

I'm not expecting much from it to tell you the truth.

The only good film he's made is The Sixth Sense. Apart form that, most of his other films were flops. The Happening, The Village, so on so on.

Yeah, kind of strange that the only cartoon with actually asian looking characters is cast with a bunch of whities.

I only liked the lady in the water from M. Night Shyamalan and not completely,
well he better not ruin it by converting it into another bad Hollywood crapy movie. there are really good asian actors, but it appears that the creators of avatar are not asian. I just googled it and found Bryan Konietzco and Mike Dimartino as creators of avatar so it could go ether way.Maybe they are looking for a blockbuster and that makes me less intriguing about it

Haha... true... I thought it puzzling they cast Chinese actresses in a movie about Japan.

But I don't mind that so much as at least they look the part.

There's a famous NZ actor named Cliff Curtis who plays a Columbian in the movie Collateral, an Arab in the movie Three Kings and a Latino gangster in the movie training day.

He's Maori but plays his characters convincingly and he looks the part I guess. (i.e. he's got brown skin and the appropriate features)

why couldn't they cast Dante Basco as Zuko? He does play his voice. They shouldn't do this movie anyway. It's stupid.

I think...that they should be Asian. I mean, Zuko looks a little Asian and a lot of the stuff is based off chinese and maybe japanese stuff.
Sokka and Katara seem to be casted...okay. But the other one...*shudders*
Scary question: Who will play Iroh? If its, like, Bill Murry, I will kill.
And to think that M. Night used to be my hero.
