i agree, Sweeney Todd was a little ugh for me too
i also agree with you in saying he's a very creative director
he's inspired me A LOT of times when i design outfits

im just anxious to see what it's going to be like n_n

and thank you to whoever changed the title =3

@PockyMePink: oh really?! i didnt know that! that's actually pretty cool n_n *runs off to Google*

Sweeney Todd was dark, and amusing. But it didn't pull me. It's not a film I can keep watching and each time, marvel at it's brilliance.

Sometimes, though, I think he takes the creativity past the limits.

it's actually one of his films i dont go back and watch over and over again i dont really know why, but dont get me wrong it was good.

@JoshAussie: i sure hope not. Alice in Wonderland is one of the best movies ever (personal opinion)

MissHoneyBeeee 01-04-2009 01:28 AM

sadly...no.

Mia does not look like she is going to make a good Alice, and the Mad Hatter does NOT look as happy-go-lucky as he did in the original. Plus, I've never been fond of remakes of movies, or movies in general.

Oh, and I'm a picky person XD

i have a little info ^^

it's set to be released in 2010 (seems like forever). they're currently shooting in Cornwall, England. it stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, and Helena Bonham Carter (rumored to be) the Queen of Hearts (sorry but i couldnt find a picture of her)

Mia Wasikowska as Alice

Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter

Alice in Wonderland is my all time favourite Disney movie
im quite anxious to see how Tim Burton will do this
im hoping he'll make it like Nightmare Before Christmas and in Corpse Bride where one world is brighter than the other, but in Alice in Wonderland her real world is bland and boring and then Wonderland is this colourful and bright place
i keep thinking back to the scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where they were all in the room where everything could be eaten
it just gives off a "Wonderland" vibe to me
n_n
he's got to be one of the best directors / creators i've ever seen
all of his films are amazing

anyone else excited or have any info??

EDIT: i typed the wrong title TT^TT im sorry!!! i was just so excited my typing got messed up

Personally, I REALLY hope he doesn't screw this up. I LOVE the Cheshire cat, and I couldn't stand to see his image ruined. I'd probably kill Burton if he did.

That aside, I don't think it will come out too bad. Not a huge fan of Burtons works, but I do like a few.

It looks so awesome. I've been waiting to hear more information about it. Thanks! :D:D

Johnny Depp love...♥ Except I hate writing a paper about him.
