The king of pop was gone way before... the reason why he was king was his music and the enrgy he brought. He had none these last years.

Im kinda sad, I would have liked for him to have written a few more songs.....I remember the first song/music video of his that I heard it was Soft Criminal but at the time I was like 6/7 yrs old and I had caught the music video half way while flipping thru the channels trying to find something to watch and I didnt know it was him, but the music and the way he dance made me stop changing channels, get up off the floor, sit on the couch and watch the rest of it I was mesmerized and for the rest of the week I tried to watch it again but they never showed it again so I didnt see it again until I started seaching for MJ's music

I'm sad about the loss of another famous and talented star, even though his taste in relationships and plastic surgery was questionable his music was a step forward in the music buis.
Now we are only left with idiotic artists like Eminem *dies* what is the world coming to.
All the good stars are soon going to be gone and it will be a sad generation.

I never really cared for Michael Jackson partially I think because all i heard about him growing up was that he was a creep and a child molestor. But just before his death I really started to get past the person and more into the music. It really was somthing good. Maybe it wasn't your style but he was still a great entertainer. I believe that his show would have been more fun than to see one of my favorite bands live because no one is like him.
I did not believe it when I heard he died after a customer at work told me not until I had heard it 6 or 7 more times it was like a curtain of disbelief. Just wow.

I think he obsession with his appereance came about from when his face caught fire at the pepsi commercial.(a fact I didn't learn until after his death) Im not defending him as i believe he molested those kids but I am saying that I think maybe he thought it was okay. He didn't really have a child hood after all as the jackson 5 made him be an adult. I just feel bad for the man and hope he can finally rest in peace.

If you only watch MTV, you will get crap.

There are plenty of good artists out there.

I appreciate his music, dance and general style but I'm not very heart broken, I was never much of a fan, regardless Rest In Peace MJ!
