legalizing weed in california ?
 

hey people do you think they should make weed legal in california,yes or no ?and do you think it will help the budget crisis? whats your opinion.

As for legalization or not, I'm undecided... But as a tax base, it would be a HUGE payoff for the government. I would imagine they would tax it like cigarettes or alcohol, And I'm sure their sales would be through the roof.

just to be clear this probably ISNT going to happen, this has been in talks to be legal since i was in primary school, so its not going to happen, if anything, taxing it would actually be to hard to do.
plus ANYBODY could just grow there own like they do now.

and the legal drinking age is low, so you hardly hear about younger ppl getting in accidents and such

If marijuana were legalized you would not be able to grow it in your yard. Just like cough medicine and alcohol is legal, but that doesn't mean you are allowed to make your own.

int he current state of the economy its the right move to make. taxing marijuana will bring in a large revenue for the state of california. most people will find this hard to deal with but living in these times doesnt come with hard decisions. but what most people dont understand is that marijuana is not bad. its just seen that way now. it was made illegal by a paper company who seen its use in making raw materials from it cheaper and better. they made it illegal to protect their interests. if im wrong about this feel free to correct me

i know a kids thats been smoking weed since he was 13 daily and he graduated at the top of his class....i dont know any ppl that smoke it and are just dumb idiots like what u see on tv.the ppl that are idiots dnt need to smoke to be one..the commercials they put out arent true to what its really like..its just how they make it look. it really just puts u in relax mode pending on who u are

in the words of george carlin, "the world is filled with a few winners and a whole lot of losers." it depends on who is smoking it. im an artist , so ill smoke it once in a while to get creative. my aunt is an artist as well and she smokes it for the same purposes. she makes some really killer jewelry. but if you smoke it for no real purpose than to get high and waste time then of course youre going to get THOSE people. but even so everyone has their own drug. coffee, aspirin, sugar, etc. you can say its not a drug, but if you require it for the jolt it gives you, like energy drinks , then it is a drug and you cant say im not addicted to it if you require it everyday.

Legalized in what way? Prescribed for people with health problems or just for people to smoke because they want to get high?

I'm unmotivated enough and don't need any help. But if people want to smoke someweed that's fine with me. I don't buy that crap of it being a gateway drug. Those that do move onto harder drugs would have found them anyway.
