I just saw (finally) "Okuribito" and it was great. I am very proud of my students in Japan since they helped as advisors for the film.

Avatar= Don't care much due to apparently bad plot or predictibility.

Lovely Bones- Gotta see it . . . I really want to but it can wait because I need to

Tyrien 01-31-2010 03:02 AM

Avatar = Theater
Memoir of a Geisha = Blu-ray.

Harichan92 01-31-2010 04:15 AM

It was utter garbage! I expected it to be, but my friends were going so I thought what the heck.

Seriously, ninjas that can hear a feather hit a soft mat, yet can't hear an accelerating car coming up behind them...

Zerj 02-02-2010 12:06 PM

Haha x3
Well, I'll think about it..
Maybe I go to the movies today so I'll see ^^

Slykaz1 03-25-2010 06:04 PM

Shichinin no samurai (1954)

Seven Samurai ?

I liked it a lot...tho I caught it in the middle, so I'm a have to go and find the movie and watch the whole of it. And yes...I didn't understand a word they spoke...lol...but heck as if I were deaf the images told me exactly what was happening. :o

metalmark666 03-25-2010 07:24 PM

Gamer. Pretty average, story has been done too many times before!!!
&
Year One. Utter, utter shite. It was so bad that I was crying at the end of it!!! DO NOT WATCH!

Undertherose25 03-25-2010 09:46 PM

I went to the midnight opening of "Alice in Wonderland", obviously weeks ago...I'm not a big movie fan.

ModusOperandi 03-26-2010 12:26 AM

My mistake, I just came from watching Spielberg's Amistad in class today.
I found it outstanding. The other movie was actually a week ago.

manganimefan227 03-26-2010 01:05 AM

I watched Renisance Man in English class . . .Awsome!!

SweetSuicide 03-26-2010 02:40 AM

Alice In Wonderland <33333 I seriously love how Johnny Depp had all his characters made into one <33 hehe

Pexster 03-26-2010 09:11 AM

Fight Club. :)

Slykaz1 04-07-2010 03:43 AM

Dodes Ka-Den

I liked it...a lot...the old man in the movie was hilarious...when he walks up to the drunkard with his umbrella in the rain and tries to take the sword from him. It's funny how the drunkard gives up on swinging it at everyone...lol...hillarious. Ahh...but what happens to the homeless child was too sad...that totally made me cry... *sigh* I'm such a sucker. lol.

reihiino 04-08-2010 06:03 PM

Cop Out and Repo Man

ShiroiHana 04-08-2010 06:52 PM

Lovely Bones. Loved this movie.

nobora 04-08-2010 08:23 PM

Bloody reunion , it's korean. It was okay i guess. Oh and ninja assassin. Now that movie was awesome-!!!

TalnSG 04-08-2010 09:27 PM

Watched Yoji Yamada's Love and Honor earlier this week.

Its an interesting story of a samurai food taster for the imperial family and how life teaches him a few hard lessons. Though the time frame is far from today, some of his sentiments about his career and family translate completely to modern life.

JamboP26 04-09-2010 02:41 PM

Battle Royale - Special Edition. Great, great film. I'm waiting on Battle Royale II - Requiem to arrive by post.

NishiHime 04-10-2010 01:49 AM

Miley Cyrus in 'The Last Song' :) it was actually really good :) Before that, saw 'Alice in Wonderland' (excellent!) and saw 'Bounty Hunter' I love Jennifer Aniston! :)
