20b swap in a ae86 isn't worth it. sure people have done it, but why? a long time ago i use to dream of doing crazy mods to my 01 impreza coupe like an sti swap but i figured it costs as much as a newer car, and so i bought a IS300 04 cash. an old car you will get rattles and lots of time fixing what you just fixed the month before, it was a headache.

i stripped all the rear emblems and i'm buying some parts while i am in japan for my is300. and finally, yes it is a manual is300 ;)

this was my tuner car when i was a kid, i still have it. i put the japanese wrx version 6 seats in, i got the rear japanese bumper, japanese mud gaurds. i think the engine is going to die soon as it is already 185k miles :D

The Supra Turbo engine fits really nice in those IS300's :D

yup, too bad supra engines cost so much. the way i drive regularly i don't need the extra power :) it WOULD be fun, but i don't see the cost/benefits out of it until my engine somehow crap out on me. too bad the stock IS300 tranny can't handle much more than stock hp :( i'd have to swap that out too... ahh too much money...

i actrually had the option of buying my currently IS300, or spend just 5k more and get a 1992 NSX (my cousin owns a dealership)... but the benefits of a reliable and cheap fixes of the is300 was more appealing.

I am in agreement with you about the 20B swap. With the amount of work and money involved, its better to buy the performance than to build it later...

I'll agree with you there.... they are nice looking things.
And Renault if only for the Avantime....

But, what I'd most like to see over here is Daihatsu. (The copen is just such a cool car)

The 93's are great.. I loved those third-generation fox bodies.. Nice and small, and light. can be real fast if you drop in a Chevy small block :mtongue:
But do you mean a 67? the mustang didn't even get released until 1964...
