i basically only use my phone to text my [3] friends, haha xD

Nowadays phone is real necessity for all of us whether a person is student or a business man.For student it is a trend to have a mobile but for business man or a person doing a job is real neccesity. Although students need phone but there are also side effeects of it on the students.

what kind of side effeects? :confused: plz explan? thanks :)

Phone is necessary in our life because Without mobile phones, our life will be troublesome. We can not communicate with others, even though they stand nearby, we can not ask for help if we are in danger, our friends can not find us or tell us their funny stories, we feel that we have been forgiven by the world.it is unthinkable.

I have to get a Japanese phone soon. I'm a bit upset because I'm just going to go with an economy phone, so I'm seriously downgrading from what I have back home (iPhone).

When I used to live in a city, I used to have a mobile phone. Always ended up breaking the stupid things somehow. However I really stopped using them several years ago, as I returned home and had nearly no reception at all due to both lack of towers and the terrain around the area.

There's nothing worse than playing 'hunt the signal' each time you want to use it.

However, I do have a land line, which I used a lot, back when I was job hunting or needing to make appointments.

That's another big reason. Land lines are over. My family hasn't had a landline since like 2005. Everyone had a cell phone. If an application asks for a home phone, I would normally put my father's cell since I know he'd take a call for me, and the I'd use my personal cell as my cell phone option.
