Akasaka Tameike safety
 
Hi,

We are planning to move to Tameike Sanno area, Akasaka 2 chome. Is there any concerns regarding crime in the area? I know around Akasaka station is a big night life/entertainment area and heavily yakuza influenced. Should I worry about this with 2 young children? Any family living around there who can shed some light? Thanks.

As long as you are not involved in crimes yourself the yakuza should never be a concern.
