Whats up JF! I just recently found this forum while researching eikaiwa, thought it was interesting so i decided to join. Like i said, i'm researching eikaiwa right now because i want to be well prepared before making such an important commitment.
I live in SoCal and just graduated college and after a long time of dreaming i want to finally reach my goal of living and teaching english in japan. I'm actually half Okinawan and I grew up on base in Okinawa for 8 years. After being away for more than 10 years, I visited family there two years ago and became determined to return. I plan on applying to Aeon very soon and wish to be in Japan by the end of 09. This time in my life is very exciting right now and i would regret not living in Japan before i settle down with a career, house, family etc.
Right now, i'm trying to figure out where a great place to live would be. I want to live in an area that has the best of both worlds (rural and city)...leaning towards Kanagawa Pref. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Favourite manga\anime: hm...i don't like manga. anime- btw i don't have "favorite",but for my mind the best are: Devil May Cry(and also all games), Black Lagoon, Detroit Metal City, Stellvia of the Universe, Hellsing(TV and OVA) and btw i like a lot of it.
