Intentions and Stuff: Well, I wont say im just here because im bored or learning something just because I have much freetime, I definitley have a shortcutted time to spend.
My true, and really serious about traveling to japan. I've made my preparations for the time being gone here. Stuff like securence to get a job when im back from japan and such things.. The reason I want to go there is mostly the mainstream answer, I love it.
Im deeply interested how the culture is doing, the formal manner you wont see for example here.. in germany <_<, how it is to live in japan to learn how to speak such a (for my like) beatiful language (I live around 5 and more.. europe.. you know?)

Here for: cure to boredom, improving my japanese, meeting like-minded people.
Why you want to go to Japan: Several different reasons that all ultimately started with cars and food I guess. I always liked Japanese food and lusted after Japanese cars when I was a kid(I'm lucky enough to own one now :D ). I started watching Initial D because of my interest in cars which really got me interested in the language. I've taken 2 semesters of Japanese so far, and I'm signed up for a third. During this time I've become interested in anime and Japanese culture as a whole. I've never been outside of the U.S. and I'm currently saving up money for a trip to Japan either next year, or after I graduate.

Yello!! Which food do you like? I've wanted to try taiyaki for a while now . . . I've taken Japanese classes for one full semester, I'm in my second now. . .Currently learning Katakana! I've been playing Japanese arcade games since my late teens, and I've been checking out Japanese web sites for learning how to play these games at a world-class level. But to translate these sites, I've been getting by with just a machine translator, like Google Translate. Just recently, my boss at work indicated that he's learning the Japanese language, so that motivated me to finally learn Japanese too.

Right now, I'm studying Japanese every day for about an hour a day. It's really fun, and I hope to understand some basic Japanese soon!
