UFOs in Japan

The Japanese have an excellent astronomy history. But i never hear anything about ufos.Is it considered lame and unscientific?

Mortry 11-28-2009 07:16 PM

Well, I know Miyuki Hatoyama, wife of Yukio Hatoyama, doesn't think that way, since she claims to have been on Venus with some aliens

Isn't she the one who also claims to be the reincarnation of Artemis or something? She sounds bats to me.

Yes. Nobody else in the world believes any of that American rubbish.

Except maybe the British.

But UFOs do exist in the literal sense. Unidentified flying objects. Most such things have rational explanations, but somewhere around 1% of reported sightings are officially reported as unexplained.

No, no, only the most eccentric and daft British believe in aliens. We can't you know; it upsets the fairies too much.

I think it tends to be more of that weird American stuff.

The Japanese have more sense.

Although I'm sceptic about UFO's and the Alien's "abducting people", I still think that's it's impossible for there not to be some sort of life out there in the universe.

We cannot be the only living organisms in such a vast space of the Universe. We are not that special.

Well, you have to keep in mind that there's a (REALLY) small chance that we are...:smokingbear:

I find that hard to believe, though there is a chance. Think of it like a jungle. You may be in the jungle by yourself, but there are still other organisms in there with you.

Gosh will y'all stop saying that about us Americans? It's insulting. UFOs may not exsist, but dang.

It doesn't matter. It's still false. UFO-ologists exist the world over.

Well it will take some enlightenment for America to have panty vending machines and marriage to pillows.

Every country has weird stupid crap.

Yes, there's a good chace there is some form of life out there.

I'm just laughing at the guys who think they're flying around above us and put foil hats on their heads...

I am now watching a recent episode of The Best House 123 showing the best "actual UFOs captured on video" clips. One is during an Obama campaign speech.

I am pretty sure none of these have ever been broadcast in the US.

Videos of UFOs, monsters, aliens, and ghosts are pretty common on Japanese TV as a studio of "talent" ooh and aah the replay.

You really think Russia would admit a failed missile launch if they could just avoid it? And besides, the article mentioned this isn't the first failed launch they've had.

And as for the UFOs, that's not exclusive to USA/England, there are plenty of people convinced that little grey men with big black eyes come and kidnap people, but the conspiracy about the government hiding stuff about aliens is only happening there I think.

WhoIsDaffy 12-14-2009 05:42 PM

yea doesn't look much like a missile to me,

but then I don't know enough to really judge.
