Contrary to popular beliefs,
you can pretty much find women who have an interest in things that have been chauvinistically labeled "manly."

AR-15 all the way! AK-47's are stanky, ever shot one? also the functions on them are located so oddly, ergonomics = 3/10 stars

in the US Army women are not allowed to be in infantry divisions. they can be attached to infantry as cooks, medics, etc.

anyways, i think a girl that can handle a weapon is pretty cool. much like a woman driving a manual car

Girls can't drive manual? *eyebrow raise* That's a new one. Must not have crossed the pond yet.

As for weaponry, eh, I think my interests lie a couple of centuries back. I'd take playing with a trebuchet over any kind of automatic any day.

But they're still on the front line and they're exposed to weaponry.

My pink license card proves that I, as a women can drive manual perfectly well, thank you very much. =)

The bias in the question will be overlooked this time.

Considering I hold first place markmanship ribbons in two of the three categories I completed in, I think the answer should be obvious from seeing my avatar. That happens to be a custom designed short sword I acquired for my collection of quite functional bladed weaponry.

My favorite sport in college was fencing, especially sparring with an Olympic hopeful. Even losing in that instance was enjoyable.
