I was just wondering what others were going to do this summer?

I will start I am trying to get enough friends together to car pool to harry potter land but otherwise I will just hang out play baseball, video games, swim, and go to work.
A perfect 3 months :)

Well hello. How will you spend your summer vacation if you have one?

Undertherose25 05-10-2010 07:36 PM

My husband and I are going to have a wedding ceremony with friends and family [we got married via Proxy while he's stationed in Texas], so I'm busy planning that for June 19, my husband also comes home in June from Tech Training so I have to go get him. We're also going to Disney World for a few days, St. Augustine for a weekend and then we're packing up and moving to Texas, where we'll buy a house and settle down...until the military uproots us and moves us somewhere else.

Congrats Undertherose25!

I officially graduate from high school on the 27th of May, which is also my B-day! OMG  OMG
June is my vacation time, and I'll work on my portfolio for SCAD (the college I'm applying to).
I'll start working & getting my driver's license in July, mostly because I want to become more independent before I start college (and I want to get a kitten, so I need money to care for it :p ).

And I'll be improving my Japanese during my spare time all throughout!

seiki 05-11-2010 01:29 AM

I did not get my drivers liscense until after I graduated as well. Right when I turned 18 ha.

MonkeYMaideN 05-11-2010 03:02 AM

Yeah, I decided to wait because I had no need for it while I was in school. Riding the bus was much more convenient for me.

Plus, since I don't have my license & I'm not 18 yet, my school can't penalize me for my unexcused absenses. :D
