So what's the point of arguing about it?

How about a world where we don't care what every other human is doing? What a boring world that would be.
If someone wants to shoot someone in the head, then good for them
It's no one elses problems minus the dude who got shot.

The point of arguing and debating is that there are people who disagree ;)

It bugs the sh*t out of me when people do what makes them feel comfortable and people throw the gay card at them. Serious? Being gay is wanting to have intercourse with men. Not wearing makeup, or wearing tight clothes or whatever else people these days think is 'Gay'.

So what's the point of arguing about it?
It's not you, it's not your body and it's not your reputation, so why care ?

So you're gay pretty much?

I don't think anyone beside the person who made this thread gives a shit what another person does with his face, but obviously if someone asks us we're going to answer..

JayT 07-19-2010 12:02 PM

Hell yeah I am, duhh

Luckkiss 07-19-2010 12:38 PM

*shrugs* Whatever takes your fancy I say, its a personal choice. Doesn't bother me anyway.

Whilst Japanese is a very fine language indeed, I don't think that I would be going to far in requesting that you reword this into English. I base this in the knowledge that you seem to have some grasp of English, enough to send out pointless and ill-considered insults at least! Perhaps you ought to consider your audience. Or are you, as I suspect, deliberately obfuscating your words in the understanding that your inarticulate, confrontational and utterly counter productive manner might further exacerbate the fact that most people will read what you wrote and think "what a cock!"?.

My Kanji isn't great, and to be honest its way too late for me to go through the dictionaries trying to figure out exactly what you just wrote. Despite dishing out silly insults in English, you clearly can't or won't defend yourself when someone quite rightfully criticizes you for your churlish and confrontational manner. As evidenced by your subsequent refusal to speak a common language, though apparently able to do so. You're a typical bully, it's nice to push people around on the internet but you shit yourself and hide when anyone issues a serious challenge, in this case behind language. Which as you won't communicate, pretty much kills the argument stone dead there.

And when I do not mean make up on special occasions, but make up on a daily or frequent bases.

Expand your imagination and express your thoughts please.

I've always had a liberal attitude when it came to people's taste in appearance. With that said, I don't mind it. As for my personal opinion on it, whether I would do it myself, the answer would be no... unless I was required to (acting, modeling, etc.).

nobora 07-19-2010 07:54 PM

I think its ok for a guy to wear makeup only if he looks good in it and if he puts it on right. Like that Emo thing guys do. Yea no that kind of make up just looks bad( not just on guys but girls too) .Makeup looks good on marlyn manson ^^'''' so its ok for some guys but not all guys.

TalnSG 07-19-2010 08:36 PM

Since I perfected most of makeup skills along side some very talented male actors, men in makeup is no shock. But I am sometimes startled when I see males wearing it on the street, during the day. Of course if I notice it in passing then it really is overdone for street wear, since I am nearsighted and usually don't wear my glasses unless driving. Nobody, regardless of gender looks good in unnaturally intense makeup.

Seriously, I know a guy in Houston, and two here in Dallas that look fine in what little touches of makeup they wear. They apply it well and one of them has gorgeous eyes when he takes the effort to make them up. One of them looks so normal that I didn't even notice his makeup until I was staring very closely at his face (for other reasons).

A few people responding seem extremely insecure in their manhood from the way they have reacted to the idea of something not typically considered masculine in today's society. Maybe they should think a bit longer about the fact that the large majority of transvestites and "gender-benders" are 100% heterosexual, not gay. And for the record, none of the men I referred to are gay. I don't consider my drag queen friends as wearing "street" makeup.

Kufufunofu 07-19-2010 11:08 PM

if they look good ~then whatever let them

manganimefan227 07-19-2010 11:15 PM

*nod*

Seeing guys with makeup has become more common.

Especially now dear Adam Lambert will start his makeup line for guys.

Troublesome thread that has become.

Wow u serious?=S

He looks retarded... I hate marilyn manson with a passion, I only like "his" theme song for resident evil movie...

I think guys wearing makeup depends on how's it's done and presented. Homosexuality is wrong, and even if wearing makeup isn't meant to convey that, it can send a mixed message based on how it's done. Of course, light or tasteful stuff if done right seems fine to me. ^^

The topics of religion and homosexuality are not allowed on these forums.

Psyclon 07-31-2010 02:28 AM

Wouldn't bother me, if the makeup is done well it'd probably look good on a cow.

As long as the guy wearing it is comfortable with it why shouldn't I be.
Granted it might be funny looking the first time.

JessX 08-03-2010 11:25 AM

I think they are cool

Yorichan 08-26-2010 11:52 PM

make up is like clothing to me it expresses style and is an extention of who u are. i think it should not matter whether u r a guy or girl when u chooose to wear make up...i think it looks hot. if u wear it properly.:)

NanteNa 08-27-2010 04:28 PM

I used to go to high school with this freshman who wore makeup, and his skin looked absolutely freaking amazing! If by makeup we're talking about foundation or powder - hell, go for it! But the whole Marilyn Manson/dead cow in a ditch-look isn't really my thing. I like guys with makeup if it's done nicely.

peterv20 08-28-2010 05:17 PM

i think in asia they're called "show boys".It doesn't bother me.cosmetics sounds better.make-up sounds cheap and trashy.it's nothing new,in the ancient world alpha men and even warriors often wore cosmetics.beauty was considered god-like.:mtongue:

Eiri02 08-28-2010 07:00 PM

men with makeup unless they are J-rockers are definitely GAY!!!

raat475 08-29-2010 01:56 AM

Thinking back to high school, the guys who wore makeup (if ever) during the day were all the mad artistic sorts; sexuality completely aside. A few of the gay kids might slick on a bit for a night out, but that falls under 'special occasions' to me.

retouching

Never like man wearing make up. They look so vain and gay. I remember one time when I was in college and this boy just came out of the rest room and you could see that his face is very white. He just washed his face, who knows what he used, so vain. I prefer man with his sweat on his face, so masculine.

I think each to their own, as they say, the world would be a boring place if we were all the same.

Quailboy 08-31-2010 03:49 AM

Doesn't matter to me, if you can make it look good then who's going to stop you?

Oh I completely agree with you, afterall the more guys that use make-up the more manly I'd look ;)

StrangeLee 08-31-2010 12:50 PM

Honestly, I couldn't be bothered if another guy wore makeup. Personal choice, and all of that, and if a guy wants to wear it, then it makes no difference to me because that's his own personal choice.
