That's pretty cool, I'm guessing from that and your location that you speak Swedish then?

My forum nickname is the name of an anime character from "Kinnikuman". I used it as an MSN name years ago and now all my friends call me 'Robin', so it's been adopted for almost everything I use, lol, so it's simply my forum nickname for convienience. It's what I'm known as, for better or worse :P

AllICanSay 07-23-2010 09:01 PM

Created my name a long time ago. It was the first thing that popped in my mind. Not really sure why though:confused:

manganimefan227 07-26-2010 04:06 PM

I noticed how the last a in manga could be used as the first a in anime and I liked both so manganime, and I like the number two so I put it twice . . .and the 7 . . .I'm not too sure about.

kyo_9 07-26-2010 05:14 PM

I was bored and happened to have a english dictionary in front of me. Just randomly went to a page and randomly pointed my finger somewhere on the page. Did this twice, got Magic and Pony.

Jaydelart 07-29-2010 02:42 AM

"Jay de l'art" French for "Jay of the Art".
People call me 'Jay' and I'm an artist.

Atredies 07-30-2010 05:46 AM

i used to be a miserable high school girl in wellington, new zealand who read frank herbert's dune novels. hence atredies. it was a good tactics to forget about the aggressive schoolboys in new zealand who bullied me.

Japania 08-01-2010 08:58 PM

I'm Spanish. Hispania is an ancient name for Spain (for the Iberian peninsula, more accurately).
Japan+Hispania= Japania

Ayame90 08-02-2010 04:02 AM

Ayame90= Ayame, an anime character from the hit Anime Inu Yasha and 90 is my birth year, so thus the nickname. ^_^

JasonTakeshi 08-02-2010 05:02 AM

Jason = My 2nd name.

Takeshi = A japanese name I like.

TalnSG 08-02-2010 04:35 PM

Someone I was collaborating with back in the days of BBS and no WWW, worte a character named Talyn and said she was based on me. It was an altered spelling of "talon". Something about "velvet paws concealing razored claws". It became my pseudonym, but because people kept mispronouncing it, I removed the "y".

The SG - acknowledging my sliver streak since my teens and a tendency to react like an old grizzly bear when it comes to defending "family" and territory.:rolleyes:

SqueakyRat 08-02-2010 05:08 PM

I had a rat once. Just calling myself Rat would've been boring though, so I needed an adjective.

Now while my rat never made any sound at all, the only sound I could think of that a rat would make was squeaking. Thus, SqueakyRat was born.

El2IN 08-02-2010 10:54 PM

Well, my username is El2IN. and the reason... is because my name in real life is Erin. <3 so i just used that, but spiffed it up alittle. (mind you i made it awhile ago) i don't like it so much anymore. XD *wants to change* <3

SSJup81 08-03-2010 01:07 AM

I was new to the net and couldn't think of anything, really, so I just combined two series I really liked along with my year of birth. This was back in either late 1999 or either sometime in 2000.

SSJ = Super Saiya-jin (Dragon Ball Z; I had just recently gotten into the series)

Jup/Jupiter = Kino Makoto/Sailor Jupiter (Sailor Moon; she was always my fav inner soldier followed by Minako/Venus; I loved it from when I first saw it back in 1995)

81 = year of birth

I've always had some equivalent of this name for as long as I can remember and I don't plan on ever changing it. At least when people see it, especially those I might haven't talked to in a long time, they know it's more than likely me. I hate it when people constantly change their user handles and then expect me to know who they are.

Agreed. I have a relative who changes his user name on several sites frequently and then expects me to just know who he is. Sometimes I block the new name just to piss him off; other times I truly don't know its him .... same result.

JessX 08-03-2010 04:43 PM

Jess is my real name but it was taken by someone so I added X okay my story sucks
