If you don't mind, what political shows are you watching? I think that you may have gotten the wrong views, and are misinformed.

Well actually, the scary part is, all Europe IS trying to form into a single country. We have their flag all over here, even on our car licensens plates, the EU with its blue flag and its halo of stars. So I'm not that far off and I am one of those Brits totally against the UK merging into that horror of the EU.

Now to my darling boyfriend whom I love dearly. Darling don't forget that we (the UK) are one of the few successfully operating socialist governments i the world so its good for some people its just not what America sees at their ideal so I have to support them in stopping it but I tend to live ours.

Larry King and also i like real time with Bill Maher. there is usually a nice balance - right and left representatives and yes...comedic touch.
yea...tried Glenn Beck since name sounded familiar but...

and no. im not watching fox news. :)
maybe not perfect shows but helps to keep track of current things.

Oh...I have a question about evanny's comments about America not being a facsious government. If they aren't why do they have the one major symbol of it, the fascius, the axe made of a bundle of smaller rods around a single center rod with the axe head through it? Isn't that sort of telling? And what having to "show your papers" at every turn? I know from being there a few years that you can hardly go anywhere without some police wanting to see your ID card. In England we just defeated, happly, an attempt at a law to force all us to carry picture ID's that could be checked every time we turn around. That's what passports are for. I think you may be closer to the old goose step than you think.

Hmm. Fair enough. Larry King, only problem is that frequently he focuses on being funny more than actually doing the news. Glen Beck...meh. Have you tried O'riley?

KyokoUK 11-14-2010 09:29 PM

OOOOH! You mean that some people actually think Europe IS a country now, instead of a contenant? Hehehe yeah, that's like a racist I once heard say that to end the "nigger" problem "we" should invade Africa. I had to tell him, "Hey, mate, Africa is a freaking contenant you idiot, not a country!" I still don't think he got my point.

he was one of the 3 people in congers (it that the place?) who raised his hand when asked who doesn't believe in evolution. i have seen some of his speeches and seems as a normal person but he is very deeply Christian and since im an atheist our opinions differ. but as for his heart - seems in the right place.

KyokoUK 11-14-2010 09:39 PM

Isn't your congress split into two houses? Sort of like our House of Lords and House of Commons? You have the Senete and the House don't you? I think so but...the only one who didn't believe in evolution??? And a Christian??? What does that have to do with anything? I'm a Buddhist and believe in evolution and live in a socialist country so does that make me some evil person? I don't get what you are getting at. And what about my question above about American facisim? You seem to have ignored that.

evanny 11-14-2010 09:45 PM

that his views are based on Christianity and my are pure scientific.
i haven't seen him so much but probably this means that
1. he is against abortion
2. ereasing separation between church and state thou it is in the bill of rights
3. teaching only or along side with evolution so called "intelligent" design which has actually happened in some 3 states. correct me if im wrong.

again. don't now so much about him so it's hard to debate his views.
P.S please try to read harder. i would understand if i wasn't able to understand you since this is not my language. i said that from what i've seen seems like a good person with heart in the right place. but that doesn't mean i agree with his political views.
