I've no idea what you're talking about here, there are lots of Asian men here, many of whom have Japanese wives. They've just as much chance with the Japanese as any other exotic foreign folk.
That being said there is a slight stereotype in Japan against Asians due to Iranians being a major immigrant group here, often staying illegally and so working dodgy black market jobs and...yeah. Being strictly muslim is also a bit off putting for many Japanese people, but then the same goes for christians. That being said the Japanese seem to quite like Indians. |

So wat if I was born of white parents and a skin disease change my pigments to make me look brown/black & a japanese person is only dating me cause of my skin, only to find out I'm actually caucasian? Not wanting to get too involved in this conversation buuut,
I did notice a certain trend the last few times I've been in Tokyo. The guys who I saw in workout clothes, carrying gym bags, with a very body conscious stockier muscled physique were for the most part gay. (hanging out in groups with similar looking guys in the gay neighborhood) I'm not saying this was only a part of the gay subculture but that is where I noticed it most. Most of the straight guys seem to conform to what the fashionable city girls like in a guy - a slim build that can wear fashion and look good with them. Most of the other heavily muscled guys I saw were either construction workers or yaks. That association could be a turn off? I am sure there are Japanese women that like a heavily muscled guy. I am sure if a girl is "easy" enough she will say she likes your build no matter what you look like, but that's true anywhere. |

Ah. Now I see what you mean,that is a serious thing. I personally see no link between perversity and sexism but I do really hate sexism with a vengeance. You might think that's a contradiction,but I want my girlfriend to be doing most of the flirting. I can't flirt for long periods of time and I wasn't built for this. Although I can see that it is a dangerous game.

Not even a self esteem issue. people can have low self esteem and can still think like a human being.
