She understands japanese and a little english and I understand english and a little japanese. (Taking a class)

Was wondering if I could play maplestory japan but I don't know if it's region locked.

There are many sims in japanese and many more in english, if your aim is to learn from each other, then SL is very good, because it's mostly a social game.
