Apparently she lived for a year in a man's closet without being caught!

How could you NOT notice that? Especially if it's a closet where you keep all your clothes... That's a bit creepy.

I read about this on another forum. That woman must be an ex-ninja or something to have gotten away with that for so long.

He must not have been at home often.
She said she snuck in when he left his door unlocked, which, maybe, suggests that he leaves often.
This is, afterall, the door to his house he's forgotten to lock. She even admits to taking showers there.

... Or perhaps I'm wrong and that isn't the case...
Instead, she may just have incredible stealth skills for a 58-year-old woman... or is just incredibly lucky (with the exclusion of the possibly convenient fact that he's often away).

Of course, one could always simply claim the man was stupid... But I'm trying not to immediately accept that as my conclusion.

Eitherway, the fact that she even lived in his house for one year, without getting caught, is amazing.

He notices food disappearing, but he doesn't notice a person hiding out in his closet? :eek: How big is his house?

I feel a bit sorry for her. Too bad she's going to jail and all that. Like a couple of others said, I just would've let her stay, but would have to earn her stay, like say...keeping the house clean or something for room and board.
