Akina Nakamori to release folk song album for Christmas

Singer Akina Nakamori, 43, has released a new album “Folk Song” featuring popular songs of the 1970s. Recently, Nakamori has been releasing albums featuring other artists’ songs and 1 million copies have been sold so far.

The album will contain 11 popular folk songs in 1970s such as “Fuyu ga kuru maeni.” Nakamori will also sing at dinner shows from the end of November nationwide.
