I did find one vending machine that had hot drinks, including coffee and hot fruit mixes. But it was on top of a castle, so a tourist attraction. But it was the only one I saw.

I have seen a show on t.v and they talked about the vending machines in japan and they have stuff like underwear that you can buy from them!
