Has anybody been to Hiroshima? I'm going there with a class at the end of the month and I was wondering where I should go? Restaurants, shopping, nightlife, etc...

You shoud go to Hacchobori and Kamiyacho. Kamiyacho has a rail and bus terminal. Take a Hiroden streetcar to get to these intersections from Hiroshima Station.

Kamiyacho (紙屋町)

• Shareo (underground mall)
• Sogo (department store)
• Pacela(shopping mall)
• Sun Mall (shopping mall for the youth)

To the north there's the Castle. To the northwest there are museums, libraries, and the municipal baseball stadium. To the southwest there is the Peace Memorial Park.

Hacchobori (八丁堀)

• Fukuya (department store)
• Tenmaya (department store)
• Mitsukoshi(department store)
• Yamada Denki (consumer electronics store)

To the south there's a nightlife area, Nagarekawa.
