What is the coolest things to buy in Tokyo?

What is the coolest bar in Tokyo?
(best location, best music, best drinks, best prices etc)

What is the "strangest" things worth looking out for in Tokyo?

I think most will agree the "weird" and "strange" thing will be twisted sex industry in Japan, you can get a glimpse of that in Shinjuku or Akiba... they are all over the place, but more concentrated in these 2 areas.... you can also find a lot of cosplay store selling weird costume....

What does "coolest thing" mean?

Are you talking about electronics? Clothes? Car stuff? Jewelry?

This is a subjective set of questions but.....

Girls dressed as maids walking past you on the street like its a normal thing, and after a while it is normal. Until you see guys dressed the same then it truely is weird.

Some of the best Arcade action on this planet x 10 1up = empty wallet.

Tokyo people. Just take a look at the people of tokyo. Cool or what. People who dress how they want until they get a job and then dress well in suits.

Clubs are clubs the world over and you really need to know who and what is playing where. I have seen and heard some of the best music played on the streets by working bands selling their CD's.

Tokyo is so diverse that we would need to know your preferences to the dot to be able to point you in the right directions. Even then you would find something else that we havn't spotted and be able to tell us a good place to hit.

I`m aware of the diversity in Japan, but I don`t know exactly what to expect when I get there. That`s why I ask kind of broad questions. Maybe this could kick of a good chat about Tokyo and what`s worth buying (anything really), and where you guys like to hang out.
