Assuming, of course, that it is indeed the model you are looking for. There seem to be a lot of variation in that model number... And as I said before, I`m not knowledgeable when it comes to guitars. You might have a chance to get a deal though. Good luck.

Still, I was looking and finding them for $1200.00 to $2000.00 in the US...why is Australia so much more expensive?

Don't really know why, that's just the standard price for them in Oz.

This sounds really more like a case of Australia being incredibly expensive than Japan being a bargain.

Indeed, as they still can be twice as much in Japan as they are in the US.
