Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Ebina
just a tour for a couple of weeks, but it was really fun!

This year I've been to Japan two times in a total of 7 weeks, and I go back to Osaka in 8 weeks from now to visit my girlfriend. Anyway, I've been to Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura and Osaka. Favourite place is, as you probably can understand, Osaka :rheart:

Next time I will visit Kyoto as well so looking forward to that :vsign:

I'll never forget spending $400 dollars each on strippers and booze in Osaka for my bachelor party years ago!

Been pretty much confined to the Tokyo/Yokohama/Chiba area, so I'm not exactly worldly about all the places in Japan. I did visit grandma (apparently) in Hokkaidou once when I was 4 ish, but that's nothing but a vague memory now.

I'll be travelling a lot this time round though since I'll be there for three months (from Nov this year).

Places on my hit list:
+ Osaka
+ Hokkaidou (visit obaachan again)
+ Beppu
+ Nara
+ Okayama

Can anyone suggest more places?

I lived in Wakayama-ken for three years. In that time I think I went just about everywhere in the Kii-hanto (Osaka, Wakayama, Nara and Mie). I took two trips to Shikoku and a few days in Hokkaido. I went to Tokyo for two days and didn't like it. I enjoyed the countryside.

I also enjoy the countryside--much nicer. I'm living in a small mountain village in Nagano, called Otaki. You can read a bit about it at my blog: In the Pines.

I've also lived in Kyoto, so I've been to Kobe, Osaka, Shiga, Mie, Nara, Wakayama--all of the Kansai region.

I've also been to:
Hokkaido--highly recommend.
Kyushu (Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Oita, Saga, Fukuoka)--wonderful onsens
Okinawa
Toyama
Niigata
Tokyo--the beast

Anyway, it's a wonderful country with wonderful places to visit.

I'll have to plug my home prefecture--Nagano. The mountains are AMAZING and there are onsens galore (if you're into that). Check out my blog: In the Pines
