Odd subject...
 

I am a total beauty product junky and I am dying to get to Samplelab! in Harajuku. Its kinda the mothership calling me home...
Anyway, Im concerned that since I dont speak or read Japanese I will not be able to become a member. Has anyone ever been there? What is the process of becoming a member? How do they enforce you pay the anual fee?

However, the place is in the middle of construction to create a cafe space in it. All they say is that they will re-open "in the spring". Seems they aren't taking new members until the construction is done with.

You can become a member without being Japanese-proficient but all the info you get will be in Japanese, I assume.
