Ishigaki Island
 

Hi there,

I'm a Brit who has recently upped-sticks and moved to Japan. After hanging out in Osaka for a couple of months I moved down to Ishigaki Island, which is part of the Yaeyama group.

If anybody is looking for an escape from life in Tokyo I'd highly recommend it. Nice food, nice people, beautiful beaches and scenery.

Has anybody else been?

Oh yeah! You are the man! SHHHHH don't tell anyone. Let them have Tokyo, they can't even say Yaeyama, no less find it on a map.

Ive been to Yaeyama for 2 weeks and visited all the Ilands. really beatifull corner of Japan!
