Nice Ryokan in Kyoto

Hey guys,
3 of my friends are going to Kyoto this year in spring (yes during Sakura).
I have been in Kyoto and can give them some advice but they want to stay in a nice Ryokan and i stayed at a guesthouse last year. So does anyone know a nice place where this 3 ladies could get a room?
They would like to share a room and not pay more than 8500yen per person /per night. Any suggestions?

They can speak a little bit japanese and i could help them to make a reservation if needed, so japanese only should be ok as well. And it would be nice if there is food available or even included.

Thanks in advance

8500 yen a night is pretty cheap for a nice Ryokan during Sakura season. Good luck with finding one.

I've never stayed in one before but from what I've seen you might be able to get away with 8,500円 a night since you want to share a room. Don't know if it's any good or not but I just randomly googled some Ryokan's for example prices and this was about the prices I got. NISHIYAMA RYOKAN Reservations

As I said though I've never stayed in one but it looks like you might find somewhere.

Also, I see your avatar is relevant to the topic ;).
