can anybody help me with getting the email address of JAF. I have a question for them, but i only find a phone number and address on their website.

The japanese ambassady in my country told me i have to contact them with the question, but ... i'm afraid when i make a phone call, the person on the line will only speak japanese and i don't speak it.

Thanks for the help.

What country are you in?

Belgium.

That's the big problem. Our international passport isn't accepted in Japan. So we need a translation.

But the "problem" is, that my boyfriend has a conference in Tsukuba till fridayevening. After we go to Tokyo and on mondaymorning we would like to leave Tokyo to start our round trip. So, as i'm arriving on thursday morning, the idea is that i go to JAF in Tokyo thursday, ask for translation of my boyfriends driver license. If they do it immediatly: that's fine. If they don't do it immediatly: no problem, we will go back to JAF at opening hours on monday. But if we do this on monday and say we have to wait for 6h or till the next day, that's not interesting :-( (and also very difficult to plan our trip and to plan the hotels).

So i need to know what documents i need from my boyfriend and which papers i need to prove we live together.

But for this, i need to contact JAF.

There is not mention of the email address in the Japanese site either.
Because it is a useless organization administered in former government officials, please give up the kind correspondence.

thanks for the help anyway. I contacted another group of japanese people in belgium and they said it should be fine. I'm just going to try this and see what's happening.
