Decent music in Japan
 

Since we've another long weekend this weekend I'm thinking of pulling myself off my lazy arse and heading into Tokyo to try and find some good crack.
I wonder, does anyone happen to know of any decent indie bars/clubs in Tokyo?
I could always just go mainstream to somewhere with crappy music but....why should I? There must be some good places in the biggest city on Earth....

I suppose it depends on what kind of music you enjoy listening to.

I have found in Japan that it is a little more difficult to find inexpensive bars or clubs playing live music. Even small clubs make a live band an "event" and you will pay for it.

I hear Shimokitazawa is pretty hopping
