More Osaka

Just to add to the Osaka image festival, here is one of my favorite Osaka pics (that I have taken), it is of a Kushikatsu store in Shinsekai near tsuutenkaku tower.

Here is another of tsuutenkaku itself.

I love Osaka!!!

The only oblong ferris wheel in the world is attached to donkihote in osaka!

Man. I really do love Osaka.

I was living in Osaka for 2 years, but am living in Yokohama now. I think I will be moving back to Osaka in the summer, just in time for fireworks!

I worked in Tokyo for a few years as well, and while I was living there, it was fun. However after coming to Osaka, I like it much much more than the entire Kanto area.

one of the reasons is that, when you're in Osaka, you have Nara, Kyoto, and Kobe all extremely close by. Like, within 2 hours. These cities all have a very distinct feel to them, so it never gets old. In the Tokyo Yokohama area it's almost hard to tell where Tokyo stops and Yokohama begins... It all kinda runs together like a gray mush.

Also, as any Japanese person will tell you, the people in Osaka are "different". They're loud, excitable, outgoing, friendly, and really straight-forward. Also, because Tokyo is really a city of immigrants, the people kind of lack any kind of particular identity with the city. People in Kansai will tell you straightaway that they love their city and will be sure to tell you about all the great things to see and eat!

I used to say that living in Tokyo is like living in Disneyland. It's fun, for sure! I spent so much money and had so much fun there... But it's not a place to live. I only really noticed that after moving to Osaka though. Now when I go back to Tokyo it almost makes me tired!

Anyway, Osaka has Takoyaki.

thanks for your answer. but what is takoyaki?
