Tools of the Trade: What do you use?

I'm not exactly sure whether or not this type of thread already exist, but if it does, just go ahead and delete it. ^^

As an aspiring mangaka, I want to make sure that I have the right tools for the job. I usually use my comp for coloring and soon, toning my pages. I don't own a fancy tablet that has a dragon flying out of it, no just a crappy scroll ball mouse.

I ordered some more stuff to get the job done, sort of speak: B4 paper, maru pen tips, pen holder, ink.

If you paint traditionally, snap photos, design stuff on comp, or do illustrations, tell us what are your usual tools.

So do you draw by hand in black and white, scan, and then color on your computer?

Yeah. I tried to do illustrations on computer, but that is impossible with the mouse I have. I do a rough sketch, sometimes several before deciding the final design. I ink it and clean up the pencil marks. After that, scan it and do layers for coloring.
