Those are pretty good. I would suggest placing the eyes closer together but it may just be me thinking that. I like the 2nd one the best.

Yeah I understand. I use colored pencils so if I mess up it won't be as noticeable as marker. I noticed that pictures colored with colored pencils look washed out when they are scanned. So, if you want the colors to be really bright and strong, I would say use markers or pens or dark colored pencils.

Kiyuge 04-27-2010 12:07 AM

They're very cool!~ Keep it up!

lejika 04-27-2010 01:19 PM

hmm i'll try it with the pencils..thanks for the nice comments :D i'll try to make them in color and i have a bit of a problem because my scanner isn't workin' but i'll try to post them as soon as possible because i wan't you to see my drawings :D

Very nice drawing indeed you got some talent there. Wish I could draw like that would help me out a lot if I could get some of my character designs out on paper and out of my head.

hey ;)

I reeally like your fourth drawing looks pretty nice, keep it up ;).
A little tip try to make the outlines a bit darker, maybe with some
different lead pencils (maybe H-2H for the first drawing and B-HB for darker outlines) and if possible use white paper the lines are blowing my eyes away XD.

lejika 06-02-2010 07:44 AM

I'll try with the darker outlines the new drawings are better have darker outlines and don't have the stripes i made them on blank paper the srtipes helped me a bit tho. :)

sam87 06-02-2010 09:54 AM

Hi lejika

you have talent on drawing, you can drew a picture by your imagine.try to make your hand move easily and a little quick when you drawing the hair, that practice makes you to draw tidly and enable to innovate design of the hair by your self try to use photoshop to edit and colour the picture you canmake diffrent shape of one picture

look at how to draw anime vedioes on youtube it's helpful, look to the drawers how to move their hands quikly, your drawing is wonderful I like it

all the best:vsign:

If this is really your first attempt they are great. I am not a specialist on Manga, so all i can say is: keep it up! You've got talent.

Use imageshack, that is what I use for uploading my calligraphy, you can chose option of resizing and optimization of your pics. :)

Also try some colors. I really like your drawings, they feel natural and not forced. It means you paint the way you feel it.
