the best treatment i got from a hair salon was at visual changes...
and from that...it's just the "treatment" that was worth the money...

I cut my own hair...I need to do it again b/c my spikes in the back are SO damn long that they won't spike anymore! T_T

mm Well for a while i used to cut it myself, back when i would keep it really short all the time, just get the machine and pass it over my head for half an hour to make sure it got even lol. Recently i being going to a hair salon and just spike it with gel like i used to do when i lived in mexico, but i never really liked my hair so i guess it doesnt really matter.

I used to cut my own hair, but since I go to cosmetology school, I usually bug one of my classmates to cut my hair if it gets too long.

When i want a change of style I go to the hair dressers, show them a pic, they always always always shout at me for dying my hair too often and odd colours, cut a style i hate and charge me near £100 for the pleasure. I go home and *fix* the cut myself, which usually involves leaving the bakc and making the front and fringe more interesting. Last time I begged the hair dresser to cut off all the dead ends and have it short, and they refused, gave me a weird style, i went home and my mum cut it all off for me, looked awful but a couple weeks later it has really grown in and now I love it. :rheart:

I have now decided to boycott hairdressers that aren't just family friends for a long time, ad it is just wasting money, cut enough layers and anything can look "grown in" within a few weeks.

I never go to a salon o.O... my oka-san always does it for me n.n, it's always nice ^^. Sometimes i cut it XDDD
