If I may be honest, not too many young Japanese, male or female, carry brown-colored items including bags. Here browns seem to appeal to older groups of people. As far as I see in Tokyo, guys like to have black bags as well, followed by different shades of blue and white. But Black wins by a landslide for both sexes.
