Question / Concern to spike my hair
 

Herro all, Baka Here (ﾟДﾟ≡ﾟДﾟ)

Anyways, I am going to cosplay this year for Connecticon, and well.. I find myself "Stuck in a rut" in a way (。_゜)〃ドテ！

I want to cosplay as Soul from the wonderful series Soul eater.



Now, no matter who it is I know hair doesnt get that spikey and even. My concern is that, though I have the skin tone and though I have the length of hair, what do I go about doing with African AMerican hair? I'm sure all hair is hair, just... I wouldnt know how to go about spiking it... if possible (ﾟｰﾟ)(｡_｡)ｳﾝｳﾝ

Errr... Any suggestions?

anyways .. he would suit you ..

Why not take the easy route and get a cheap wig? I would stick with dark hair and jsut make a variation of Soul if Soul is the character you really want to do.

Anyways, I said I wanted to cosplay as soul, I dont want to limit myself to like 3 anime characters because I am black.

Also I am very light skinned, and can pull this off very well, I just need to know what I need to do to get my hair like this.

Heh, wigs arent a bad idea.. I dunno.. I kinda wanted a natural thing going on, and no sence in growing my hair if i have to werar a wig anyway ;_;

I don't blame you. Do the character you relate to. Seriously consider the wig, because what you would have to do to your hair otherwise would be (1) damaging to your hair, (2) expensive, (3) probably permanent or (4) extremely messy and would not hold more than a few hours. And all four might be true. Ask any girl with similar original hair texture what it was like getting her hair straightened. I wouldn't want to do it just for cosplay.
