MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 05:57 PM

i'd say ruder, oshare kei, visual kei, *cough*salaryman*cough*, and lolita r the best xD

ppl who are able to are lucky

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 08:18 PM

jah, i would like....die if i could pull it off xD
the only thing wrong with me is the fact i don't own any type of clothing that would work for the styles xD

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 09:34 PM

same here i mean i have a corset that i can pull off, but i really want to try lolita style

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 09:36 PM

yeah, it would be fun to actually hav the right type of clothes, cuz then u could try it out and see what looks good on u ;) tho, i am incredibly ugly, so i prolly can't pull anything off xD

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 09:38 PM

i'm sure one way or another you could, i mean i'm still trying new things

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 09:39 PM

xD yeah, i imagine myself in awesome stuff, but i can never find what i'm looking for, so i'm trying to get my mom to bring me out to find patterns and fabric to make clothes myself C:

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 09:41 PM

yeah i have that problem too n hottopic is too expensive for cuz i have to save lots of money for them

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 09:42 PM

yeah, and my parents HATE going to hot topic xD especially my mom, she's afraid of the ppl there xDDDDDDDD

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 09:44 PM

lol, my parents don't mind cuz that's the first store we shop once we're in the mall

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 09:48 PM

lol xD lucky, i can't even get my mom INTO the store xD they'll stand outside of it while we're looking, the only time they come in is to see what we wanna get, and to make sure it fits us lol oh...and to buy it xD

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 09:49 PM

lucky my mom says its your money

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 09:50 PM

so u hav to hav the money to get stuff? man, my parents buy ALL of my clothes, unless my 22 year old sister is the one taking us, than it's all our money going down xD

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 09:53 PM

yup thats why barely go to the mall we gotta clean part of the house and then we get the money plus my sisters and i don't have jobs yet so it makes it harder

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 10:05 PM

ouch, well, maybe soon u can get one xD u can probably ask hot topic to let u WORK there ;) then u'd get a discount for being a part of the staff :D

crazyjrockluver 07-20-2008 10:06 PM

okay this getting me mad someone's posting porn on almost every thread

MissHoneyBeeee 07-20-2008 10:06 PM

I KNO! it's disguisting! D:

daihoshi 07-24-2008 05:03 AM

Ewww! Gross about the porn.
Yes, hot topic is expensive, and I have to pay for my clothes too. I have a job, but it doesn't pay well enough for me. I make about $100 dollars a day, but I only work 2 days a month usually. It sucks. So when I buy my clothes I try not to look at the new stuff, I just walk to the clearance rack. Lol!! ;P

AiUsagi 07-27-2008 04:07 PM

There is also Guro Lolita. Lolitas that wear bandages and put fake blood on them.

daihoshi 07-28-2008 05:05 PM

That's strange. What appeal would that have??

daihoshi 07-28-2008 05:37 PM

Nevermind.....This look is beautiful!

Trends in Japan

The season of "June brides" is here. Nowadays, while some Japanese couples still observe unique local customs or old-style pomp in their wedding ceremonie.Seasonally, October and November, when the weather is neither too hot nor too cold, are popular months for weddings, and a day known as taian -occurring roughly every six days in the traditional Japanese calendar - is considered ideal. Although arranged marriages are no longer common in Japan, traditionally a matchmaker is appointed and it is his or her duty to preside over the proceedings on the big day.

Just curious Daihoshi and Yuujiro,
What's the attraction?
Of the collection of photos I would agree with yuujiro's preference, except for one thing. Despite the blood spatter being a color that is perfect in contrast to the crisp white of her dress, its not a natural shade. it looks like very poor quality stage blood, so the realism in entirely lost for me.

The color is one of the things that makes those so beautiful. I've always loved the way bright red looks with white, and I think people look the brettiest after they get the shit kicked out of them, for some reason.

like daihoshi said x]
i like the contrasting red on the white
if it were a fabricated red (like a cut of red fabric sewn into the dress)
i don't really think it'd be as appealing too me~

also, realism isn't really something that i'd go for in things like this....
if you've ever seen like.....2 hour old blood....it's a...rather...unslightly and ...dingy brown....*yuck*

>.>'''
soo yeah, the bright red works best x]

*not too mention the models are pretty cute x] *

Absolutely agreed! Though I wonder if it could be approximated with silk paints. Of course the spatter beyond the dress would be another issue.

No, complete realism is not something to go for, unless this is appealing for a completely (rather derranged) reason. But there is stage blood that is closer to the shade of freshly spilt blood., then again is could just be my monitor making it look ever so slightly brighter so that it almost appeared to have a trace of orange.
