I live in the Tropics so one tends to wear everything without socks.

It's not fashion territory at all up here. It just doesn't mix with the climate.

We have a lot of "ferals", vegan types that walk around naked, live off Melons, fruits and nuts, and go home to the rainforest at night..

Actually paradise with waterfalls and their own lake splus plenty of natural fruit and nuts to eat of the trees.

The girls wear very thin indian style see through fine cotton with no underwear at all.

I was wondering who actually looks at shoes when they look at people during a casual meeting/conversation? I almost never pay attention, nor do I look at mine either, therefore my shoes are usually black/white and plain and I hardly ever take good care of them. I just wear them as comfortably as possible. Anyone else see this the same way I do?

Sometims I do look at people's shoes, most often when I'm bored though, I agree. Like in class, or if they are wearing shorts/skirts their shoes are easier to see. Or if the shoes are exceptionally cute and colorful.

I usually look at people's shoes, especially if we are walking straight towards eachother to talk. Yeah~If that happens I look at everything they're wearing lol

My favorite shoes are an old beat up pair of big boots...
There tearing at the zipper, and have seen better days but I cant bring myself to throw them out ;-;

ok the first ones i had a pair killed my feet the next pair i had some i loved them and wore them to school the last i think mom bought me a pair when i was 9.

Letsee~ that was taken a little over two years ago, i'd had them a year by then...I'd say they're pushing the 5 year mark? Really good buy though; they were in a sale and so far despite a lot of hard wear they're still comfy and I've not even had to have the heel or sole replaced.
