I have something dumb to point out. I have heard that there are no Japanese plus sizes, meaning that there must not be any heavy Japanese people in Japan, besides Sumou wrestlers. I have a pic that proves this wrong!

Yeah, I guess you can't listen to speculation. The realization hit me when I noticed that most of the photos of people I had been looking at were models or idols of some sort. Not regular people.

Ya know, I think I'd rather be small personally. I've just turned 16 myself and I passed the 6 foot mark LONG ago. Admittedly, it is sometimes fun being taller, but for the most part all you get is weird stares...

As the others have said, don't worry about it. Especially if you weigh around 100 pounds soaking wet :D . [I weigh around 180. :p ]

Really? I've always wanted to be tall like that. When I was in elementary school, I was the tallest kid in my class. Then, around 6th grade I just stopped growing.:D It has taken some getting used to.

But really, just about the only fun that comes out of it is teasing my girlfriend, who is well over a foot shorter than myself :D .

EDIT: That, and there's this other girl in my school named Lauren who is, shall we say, vertically challenged even by normal standards. I look up a bit when I walk, so I always bump into her in the hallways because I can't see her :D . Ever seen somebody the size of a 3rd grader try to take down somebody who's 6'10" ? It's quite the sight :D

I'm 4'11". I range from 90-105 lbs. (my body plays games.)
And I fit in. Most japanese girls I know are actually taller than me...about your height.
You have nothing to worry about.
