Shoes - Jordans????
Ok, ever since i've been telling my friends that i'm going to Japan in November they all keep asking me if i could bring them back a pair of Michael Jordan shoes.
They say that they sell in Japan for about $20 US dollars. Is this true? |
Cheap non-hyped ones, sure.

Cheap brand name products in Japan?
I am going to agree with Yuujirou here - they`re mixing Japan up with somewhere else. It is far more likely that they`ll be more expensive in Japan. |

I've had friends that have bought the Nike Air Force one shoes some where in Japan for around ¥5,000. In America they run about $90+. It all depends what you want and where you go. Yet $20 is out of the question. |

But what I said still stands - there is a higher chance of them being more expensive in Japan than less so. You could get lucky in the US and find a place having a great sale and likely get them for that amount - but that doesn`t mean it`s the typical price. |

If you want original MJ shoes, vintage Levis or stuff like that, Japan is the country to go to, but you will pay premium prices. I saw a pair of Levis selling for $11,000 in one vintage shop. |

This thread spiraled so far out of control that there was really nothing to do but purge the crap and close it. *sigh*
