Ignore the people who obviously know nothing about dreads and are calling them oily and ugly. Your dreads are absolutely gorgeous! Keep rocking your heritage!
I've seen a lot of decora-style people dye the locks in different colors and pull them back in different ways. I also agree with the idea of an add-on here and there. Little bows are pretty easy to come by, and way cute.
